What
can I say? Here's one reason I haven't been making so many blog posts
lately. I finally succumbed to the siren song of WoW and I've been having loads of fun. But I have to say
playing together with Tony has been the best, almost like the goofy stuff we did when we were dating. This is quite the statement when you consider it came from someone who gave up on playing video games somewhere around Atari's Space Invaders. However, for a couple who often surfs the net together this is a great evening's entertainment. It sure beats the heck out of TV.
I came this close ( >< ) to signing up to my first MMORPG when they were offering a lifetime sunscription to LORD OF THE RINGS for $100. Being a Tolkienite, it was tempting beyond belief...and then reality smacked me in the face and reminded me I have 3 children. I hardly have time to sneak a play on my kids' Nintendo 64, PS2 or their new X-Mas XBOX 360.
And whenever I do, I am scowled at by my wife who thinks I should spend that time instead watching some Jane Austen film adaptation with her (or the 50th+ filmed version of Jane Eyre).
So yeah, I'm envious of you and your hubby doing something kewl like playing WoW. You should share info about the character's name and abilities as a future blog entry, nes' pas?
