GP Spoiler Number 1

Melandri clipped Roberts (who was going slow) in Turn 3 a little over ten minutes into qualifying. It's now paused while they make things nice again. Thank goodness the weather's about 20 degrees lower this year so there won't be more emergencies while the crowd waits. It's kind of weird walking through here this year and remembering the giant triage unit the area resembled last July.
Melandri was sitting up with helmet off when they loaded him into the ambulance 'for precaustionary reasons' so hopefully he'll be back by the end of qualifying. Also, Rossi evidently lost a bit of his left fingernail earlier when it was ground along in a Turn 6 mishap. This puts him ahead of Bayliss anyway, which is good- I've already named the rats.
