Top American GP postion was taken by Roger Lee Hayden in tenth. Betcha that's going to cause some friction across the dinner table in Owensboro. As for the other surprise riders, Davies wound up riding sweep for the race and DuHamel DNF. But WTG Roger Lee, who with one race put himself in twentieth place for the GP season. Sometimes I wonder if Dorna hasn't already approached Ma and Pa Hayden for, erm, donations in order to secure future generations of racers.
Peter and I take credit for the strong Australian showing. Clearly they were inspired by our visit. ;)

Aussies are great. My favorite was the guys with flag capes (although the way to tell an Australian at a race seems to be the full size flags they're wearing draped about them in some fashion or other) where one guy had a stuffed kangaroo on his head. :)
