I recommend reading Michael Pollan "In Defense of Food". "The Omnivore's Dilemma" also is relevant to the subject at hand. And both are excellent reads.

Oh, my problem is not that I like fast food. In fact, I hate it. My problem is I'm a foodie. I love stuff like stir fry (very low fat the way I make them, but loaded with sodium) and crustaceans, which are loaded with cholesterol. Seafood is particularly problematic, because you have the matrix of sustainable, low cholesterol, low sodium and low mercury.
I've read "The Omnivore's Dilemma" but not his latest.
