This year I contributed money to a political campaign for the first time ever. The first recipient was Wes Clark during the Democratic primary. Obviously, Wes didn't get the nomination, but after seeing John Kerry kick the crap out of Shrubya in three presidential debates, I don't feel so bad about that. It's hard to imagine how anyone could have done better given the restrictions of the debate format limiting the use of bladed, or even blunt weapons.
Al Gore tells me an important fund raising deadline is coming up tomorrow. If you haven't already, why not send the Kerry a little love? I for one don't want to be sitting in front of my TV in the wee hours of November 3rd wondering if there's anything I could have done.
Thank you for your generous contribution to the Democratic Party. You're taking part in the biggest grassroots effort in American history. Together, we'll help John Kerry and Democrats win November 2nd!As Election Day nears, we need your support more than ever. Please, spread the word about John Kerry and John Edwards' plan for America, sign up to volunteer on Election Day or the weekend before, and visit our homepage often to stay up to date.
Thank you. Here's to victory!
