Ok, I admit it, I backdated this post by 20 minutes just so I can say I made two entries in a row. Pathetic! The truth is that the day was mostly uneventful, and the events that did happen I can't really write about since they involve my super-secret-stealth job. So, I'll just blather for a bit until something comes to me.
Oh, I know, I need to schedule a maintenance session for the Tuono. I changed the oil at about 7500 miles, but it could really use a throttle body sync, and maybe even a valve check. I must remember to find that damn owner's manual and see what it's due for. I'm actually a bit eager to take it to the shop, because a brand-spankin' new Aprilia dealer opened up not too far away from where I live: California Speed Sports. Actually, they're not really new, they just moved from Livermore. I heard good things about the service department, so maybe we'll give'em a shot. They had a little grand opening shindig a while back, which was pretty cool. That place is extremely dangerous for me though. It's the most ridiculous candy store you can imagine. Tons of Aprilia shwag, carbon fibre, everything. In a bizarre juxtaposition, they are also the east bay Segway dealer.
My lameness continues vis-a-vis the SV. I haven't even started it since the accident. I really need to get that thing going again. A recent missive that came across the Keigwin's mailing list reminded me so by announcing the completion of the phase 3 addition to Reno-Fernley raceway.
Behold!
Now that's a sigil I wouldn't mind tracing a few times, if you know I mean, and I think you do.
