There's a mildly interesting writeup over at Motorcycle Daily about the pros and cons of the KTM 990 SuperDuke vs. the KTM 950 Supermoto. I might agree with their conclusion that the Supermoto is the way to go, if I hadn't swore off KTMs altogether when they jilted the Long Way Round expedition. It is supreme irony that one of the assumed reasons for KTM's decision not to provide support for the journey was that it might not create the right kind of PR. Still, after seeing what Ewan and Charlie went through, it was probably the right call. I don't think a KTM would have made it.
