Well, you know studies show that prayer doesn't help, and it can even hurt if the prayee knows they're being prayed for. So, hit the books, and try not to think about it, and maybe we'll have some words with the big man. ;-)
that's hilarious. And the exam was unnaturally nicer than their previous ones, but the other students didn't seem to notice, AND I made both my meditation lesson and the deadline for take home anesthesia. The only things to do now are two hockey BBQs and finding a flight back from Cali, or staying and taking care of the cat... gotta get some rest and figure out if I can see you sunday, or wednesday.
really glad that I didn't get on the plane now, since there is some very busy ass-moving required to make sure I get to stay in school... and that was with some impressive studying AND prayers. Now it's time to beg and possibly intimidate. At least the dean is in my corner. I may soon be on academic probation, but it would be for the first time in my life, and some of the other students have been there several times. This whole thing is designed to create madmen. Goodness knows it's made me a much angrier person!
Oh, and impress. I'm concentrating on impressing. That's better than begging or intimidation. Poodle + Hoops. With Dean of Students acting as poodle-handler. That's the lady who sponsored my coat. Said it was "the best fun (she's) had in months" and it turns out, she meant it. Called me one of her favorite students. Hopefully with one more major proponent in the ring, it will work out. I guess we'll be knocking on another teacher's door tomorrow morning. Time to sleep!
thus the contagion of good humor is spread "aboot" the wisconsin veterinary school.
One final left and a take home exam!! Pray, pray!
